Belykh NadezhdaNadezhda Belykh was born in 1935 in Kostroma region.
She graduated from Kostroma Art College in 1960. Since this time she has been taking an active part in the exhibitions of arts in Russia and abroad: in Japan, Spain, Finland, Portugal, USA. She had her personal exhibitions in Kostroma, Yaroslavl.
The themes of motherhood and childhood are reflected in the painting of N.Belykh, but still life has become her favourite genre. The painter very well represents the traditions of life, she shows gorgeous gifts of the Nature and products of labour loving peasants. Kostroma land and poetic pictures of landscapes are near and dear to the painter. N.Belykh works are in Kostroma arts museum and in many private collections in Russia and abroad: in USA, Finland, Germany, Japan.
