Korneev BorisBoris Korneev was born in 1922 in Petrozavodsk.
Graduated from the I.E. Repin institute of painting, sculpture and architecture of the All-Russian Academy of Arts in Leningrad in 1952. The artist studied under the professor V.M. Oreshnikov.
Since 1962 has taught at this institute first in the position of a docent, then - of a professor.
A participant of art exhibitions since 1952.
The art works of B. Korneev are at the art museums in Gorno-Altaisk, Novgorod, Omsk, Orenburg, Stavropol, Kirov, Krasnodar, Moscow, St. Petersburg, and also in the private collections in Russia and abroad: Germany, France, Spain, Italy.
