Makarenko Galina

Galina Makarenko was born in Leningrad 1930.
In 1955 graduated from the Mukhina Higher School of Industrial Arts in Leningrad.
She works in still-life and landscape, portrait genres.
Since 1956 she has taken part in art exhibitions.
The works of the artist open her colouristic gift and adherence to the traditions of the Russian realistic school.
Paintings by G. Makarenko are displayed in the Art museum of Zagorsk, Tula, Murmansk, in the private collections of Russia and abroad: Japan, France, Holland.
